Shiny Happy People

Although I've only come across Matt and Kim recently, their sound is strangely familiar. It's quite possible that Karl played them to me before before because I checked out their Facebook and apparently he's already a fan. If so, credit to Karl.

The pair hail from Brooklyn and their beaming smiles and hyper-energetic performances would make The Polyphonic Spree look calm and composed. Matt and Kim claim they have no problem with online file-sharing, reasoning "the more people know and like our music the better our shows will be". 'Daylight' can be downloaded for free here but the video is definitely worth a spin too.
