'The Spell' is the first cut to be taken from Alphabeat's second album. I was a big fan of the Danish outfit's last record, which saw them hailed as the acceptable faces of bubblegum pop, but I can't decide where I stand on this new track.Clever pastiche of nineties disco-pop or just out-dated drivel?
Clearly enjoying their 'Blue Period'. Very sorta Picasso.
