Bright Like Neon Love
From one slightly witchy Mercury Prize nominee to another... Bat for Lashes has premiered the video for 'Sleep Alone.I actually reckon the Mercury Prize will come down between Natasha and Florence and the Machine. Whatever about that matter, I think this neon-themed accompaniment to Natasha's lament edges Florence's effort featured in the post below.
Keep working on your dance moves, Flo.

Natasha Vs. Pearl
There appears to be a dearth of decent music videos this week and the lovely Bat For Lashes has decided to muscle in on the action. The video for latest single 'Pearl's Dream' features Natasha embroiled in a showdown of sorts with her alter-ego, Pearl.
Wolves, witchery and a chair-hopping blonde bombshell anti-hero. Brilliant.

All A Flutter
Earlier this week, the obscenely talented Natasha Khan and her band appeared on Later with Jools Holland, arguably the greatest music programme on television these days. I had suspicions that her music might not translate all that well to a live setting but these were completely unfounded apparently.Currently the performance I'm most looking forward to at Electric Picnic this year.

Separated at Birth?
The video for Khan's current single, possibly my favourite track of the year, sees her kitted out in threads that are exactly what you might expect to find in an early Lily video.
Apparently her new album 'Two Suns' has leaked. The temptation to 'source' it is overpowering...

What's a Boy To Do?
Natasha Khan is poised to unleash the follow-up to her 2007 Mercury-nominated début 'Fur and Gold' under her Bat For Lashes pseudonym. The album, called 'Two Suns'. is scheduled for release in early April. The first cut from the record is called 'Daniel' and has succeeded in whetting my appetite for more, more, more of her witchy warblings.
